Hawa Jama Abdi regularly uses her poetry to call for better leadership and rights for disabled people in Somalia, reaching a wide audience on social media.
Raxma Huseen Huriye is this year’s Home of Somali Poetry Woman Poet of the Year, an annual award presented as part of UNDP’s Home of Somali Poetry initiative.
